Dresses are the ultimate wardrobe edit. We founded Edit-One with 1 objective - to help busy women simplify their wardrobes with dresses that really suit their shape, in colours that flatter and are beautifully made. We offer elegant British design with a modern twist.
Edit-One dresses come in 3 different styles to suit all body shapes. We believe dressing should be simple with 'do-it-all' dresses that look just as good with heels as they do with trainers. Now, tops that follow our 3 dress styles and can be worn up or down. All in our exclusive fabrics with our signature embroidery and smocking details.
One at a Time
British designed beautiful dresses and tops in exclusive fabrics using artisan techniques such as smocking, embroidery and cut-work. Made one by one. We have a skilful team who work exclusively for Edit-One (2 seamstresses, 1 pattern cutter and 1 embroiderer). They are artisans whose skills have been passed down through the generations. They are skilled at machine embroidery, cutwork and hand embroidery that is an extremely intricate and time-consuming skill. The embroidery is expertly done to our unique designs. We take time to produce clothes that exude quality and a timeless elevated style.
One ethos - Slow fashion
At Edit-One we believe in quality over quantity and have a slow fashion ethos. Sometimes we make just one item and people can then pre-order from that sample. Other times we make 1 of each size.. This means that there is no waste and no dresses going into landfill.
